The Dublin race has come and gone and I am pleased to announce that our entire team finished the race! Now I have turned my sights to the Portland Marathon on October 6, 2002. Once again I will be walking/running with TNT and will be raising $2,200.00 for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society!!!

In addition to running for my previous honor patient Brandon Bushnell who is still undergoing treatments, I will also be running this race for Father Tony Lehmann, a family friend that passed away on March 8th from complications from leukemia.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society provides funding for research, education, advocacy, patient and community service programs. Chemotherapy and Bone Marrow Transplantations, which are used to treat many forms of cancer, both stemmed from leukemia research.

The Society helps heighten community awareness through programs such as "Team In Training" while providing an opportunity for people to raise money for future efforts while improving their own physical fitness level.
